Suddenly was a film born from one simple phrase - life flashes before your eyes. The film is a metaphor for this statement. You not only get to go on a journey with the main character, but you get moments to breathe and exist inside 2D art. Which is as magical to me as life itself.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY
Nic Gregory is a senior artist in the Los Angeles animation industry working on a long list of TV and film productions for the likes of Marvel Studios, Cartoon Network, Disney Imagineering, Bento Box, Titmouse and many more. Nic immigrated from Australia to the USA, following his dream of creating art and content for animated film and television.
His passion for traditional art and love of color, inspires his personal work and shines through in his first film "Suddenly", which takes inspiration from his use of the soft pastel medium and canvas paintings.
Even though making art has been his lifelong passion, Nic has a vast array of stories to tell thanks to his previous careers. One such path lead him to become a professional wrestler for 8 years. That is just one of the many weird and wonderful life experiences that now inspires his own work and also the stories and art that he makes for the world's biggest entertainment companies.
